Steve passed away at the age of 68 on July 24, 2017. Steve was born in Bellefonte, PA to Donald and Marian Keagy. He lived in many places until his family settled in Belmont, CA. He met his wife Carol (Beaver) Keagy in 1966 and they were married in 1968. While serving in the US Air Force from 1968 to 1972 was stationed in Guam and Thailand. Steve, Carol and their two small children moved to Contra Costa County in 1974 and moved to Clayton, CA in 2000.

Steve worked for the US Post Office while attending College of San Mateo and after leaving the Air Force, worked for the Federal Government and later for the City of San Ramon as an IT Manager.

Steve leaves behind his loving wife of 49 years, Carol: son David (Marie) Keagy, daughter Stefanie Keagy: five granddaughters, Aubriana Anderson, Kiyanna Anderson, Kaitlyn Keagy, Kristen Keagy, Kamryn Keagy.; Charles, his great-grandson: his brother Michael Keagy, Sisters Cynthia Dale and Nancy Erlenbach as well as nieces and nephews. Steve was predeceased by his parents and his sister Mary Williamson.

Steve enjoyed hiking and back packing, photography, restoring old pickups, researching genealogy, studying Civil War history and travel.

He will be greatly missed by his family and all that knew him.
