Managing Partner - Funeral Director

Michael is the Managing Partner and joined Ouimet Bros. in June 2012. He came to the firm after 35 years of service to communities in Metropolitan Phoenix, Arizona. A graduate of the San Francisco College of Mortuary Science, Michael has been licensed as a Funeral Director in California, Arizona and New York for 40 years.

He and his wife Linda have four grown children and nine grandchildren. They now make their home in the city of Concord, where they are active in civic organizations and functions.  

An avid baseball fan, Michael has been an amateur umpire for many organizations over the past 25 years, serving the local high school and junior college as well as the local Little Leagues,

John Ouimet

Licensed Funeral Director - Licensed Embalmer- Previous Owner

John and his business partner Roy Lough started Concord Funeral Chapel in 1958. Later, John's brother Don joined him in the business, after which the name was changed to Ouimet Bros. Concord Funeral Chapel. In December 1997, the family then sold the business to the Carriage Group.

John is still active in the day-to-day workings of the business, and you will find him working services or greeting people at the front doors.

Don and his brother John started Ouimet Bros. Concord Funeral Chapel in 1971. In December 1997, they sold their business to the Carriage Group. Don is still active in the day-to-day activities of the Funeral Home and very active in the Concord Community.

Sharon has been involved in the business with her husband John for the past 51 years. In the earlier years, she served in most areas of the day-to-day business of the Funeral Home. Today you can still find Sharon involved in the business working on a service or greeting families at the door.

Margaret Bea Ouimet

Previous Owner - Consultant

Bea has worked at Ouimet along the side of her husband Don for many years. You will find her involved in the day-to-day activities of the Mortuary, giving good advice, meeting with families, working services, and greeting families as they enter the Mortuary. She is very involved in the community as well as her local parish.

Bruce Keim

Born and raised in Nebraska, Bruce attended San Francisco College of Mortuary Science, graduating in 1993. Bruce is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in California and Nebraska. He has worked in the Greater Bay Area since 1994 and joined Ouimet Bros. Concord Funeral Chapel in 2006. Bruce has worked in many positions within the funeral home; however, his work fulfillment is helping and assisting the families we serve. Bruce enjoys traveling, enjoying good restaurants and spending time with family and friends.

Jerome White

Jerome began his career in the funeral business in San Francisco in 1974. After graduating from The San Francisco College of Mortuary Science, he continued to work as a licensed embalmer and funeral director in San Francisco for many years.  Relocating to the Los Angeles area in the late 1980s, Jerome founded and operated a mortuary services company supporting approximately 20 funeral homes. 

An ardent supporter of funeral service, Jerome believes in always treating all those he serves with utmost care and compassion.  

Now back in the Bay Area, he is very happy to be a member of the staff of Ouimet Bros. Concord Funeral Chapel.  In his spare time, Jerome likes to travel, cook, enjoy good wines and micro beers, spending time and conversing with friends as well as caring for and spoiling his cat “Little One”.

Nisa Milburn

Funeral Director - Apprentice

Nisa Milburn is a native of Corydon, Indiana and moved to the Bay Area in 2016 with her Husband, Gregory Milburn. They have been together since 2009 and just recently got married in October of 2015. Nisa graduated Mid-America College of Mortuary Science, located in Jeffersonville, IN, with her Associate’s Degree in Mortuary Science in 2015. Her biggest reward in this business is the opportunity to help our families through the toughest times of their lives. In her spare time, Nisa enjoys running, hiking, swimming, reading, crafting, and most of all spending time with her two pet rabbits.

Rick is a native of Chicago, Illinois.  He attended Worsham College of Mortuary Science in Wheeling, Illinois graduating in 1996.  He was a licensed funeral director and embalmer serving all faiths for 20 years before relocating  to the Bay Area in 2016.  He continually goes out of his way to provide the highest level of service to the families he helps, with great compassion.  Rick is constantly rewarded by assisting people through a trying and difficult situation.  In his personal life he enjoys working on classic cars, Chinese martial arts, riding motorcycles, scuba diving, and many of the outdoor activities California has to offer.

Adminstrative Assistant

Vickie has been with Ouimet Bros. since April 2015 and is the Administrative Assistant for the funeral home. She has been working in the funeral and cemetery business for eight years. Vickie enjoys traveling by RV with her husband and her two dogs, Duncan and Ireland. She also enjoys watching the San Francisco Giants and the 49ers.

Linda has been with Ouimet Bros. since April 2013. She has worked in funeral service for over 17 years alongside her husband Michael. They have four grown children and nine grandchildren. Linda is an accomplished oil painter and spends much of her spare time on this endeavor.

Mary Cardoza

Ambassador/Funeral Assistant

A native of Crockett and a 55-year resident of Concord, Mary and her late husband Jess owned and operated a Shell Service Station for 24 years. She is a 1947 graduate of Holy Names Catholic High School in Oakland.

She spent many years assisting at assisting the nuns at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church and volunteering at the St. Bonaventure Catholic Church Senior Luncheons. In her spare time, Mary enjoys crocheting, knitting, painting, sewing, and making the most amazing desserts.  

Mary has been with Ouimet Bros. Concord Funeral Chapel since 1998 and currently serves as an Ambassador and Funeral Assistant. She enjoys helping people in need.

Rich is a native of Chicago, Illinois and lived there for 43 years before his job transferred him to San Francisco in 1995. Rich retired from the financial industry as Vice President of Management Information Operations in 2012, after 41 years of service.

Rich is married to his wife Marina, and they have two children and two grandchildren. Rich is a parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary. He enjoys spending time with his family and watching over his grandchildren.

Rich joined Ouimet Bros. in 2015 and serves as an Ambassador/Funeral Assistant. He enjoys helping people during their time of need.

Jim grew up in San Francisco and has a bachelors degree in business administration.  The majority of his career has been dealing with numbers and working with the government. 

At the funeral home Jim enjoys being supportive of families that are dealing with a loss.  He appreciates the family environment of working at Ouimet Bros.


Susan Ripley

Susan Ripley

Ambassador - Funeral Assistant

Susan is a native San Franciscan and has lived her entire life in the Bay Area.  She is married and enjoys spending time with her family. She is an award winning photographer and former flight attendant for an international carrier and has traveled extensively throughtout Europe and the United States.  Susan is a soprano with experience in choirs of varied repertory  styles as well as in several professional organizations.  Her hobbies include working out, cooking, and most especially, reading.  She currently sings in the St. Bonaventure Church choir as well as in a Sunday morning quartet.  As a funeral coordinator for St. Bonaventure Church, Susan thoroughly enjoys meeting people and being of service to others.

Dick has been employed at Ouimet Bros. since 1999. He serves as a Ambassador to the community of Concord and Clayton. He is involved in many different organizations in the community and is active in his parish. Dick can be found doing many odds jobs around the Funeral Home.
