Managing Partner - Funeral Director - Embalmer

Jim is the Managing Partner of Ouimet Bros Concord Funeral Chapel joining the firm in July 2018. Jim is a second generation licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer and a 1989 graduate of the San Francisco College of Mortuary Science. He has been serving the families of the South Bay and Peninsula for almost 30 years.


Jim and his wife Mary will be relocating to Concord and plan to be involved in many community and civic organizations. They have two grown daughters living in the Sacramento area.

Jim is an avid San Francisco Giants fan and enjoys traveling both on the open highway and off the beaten path. His greatest pleasure is spending time with his wife, daughters and extended family.

John Ouimet

John Ouimet

Former Owner - Funeral Director - Embalmer

John and his business partner Roy Lough started Concord Funeral Chapel in 1958. Later, John's brother Don joined him in the business, after which the name was changed to Ouimet Bros. Concord Funeral Chapel. In December 1997, the family then sold the business to the Carriage Group.

John is still active in the day-to-day workings of the business, and you will find him working services or greeting people at the front doors.

Former Owner - Funeral Director - Consultant

Don and his brother John started Ouimet Bros. Concord Funeral Chapel in 1971. In December 1997, they sold their business to the Carriage Group. Don is still active in the day-to-day activities of the Funeral Home and very active in the Concord Community.

Sharon Ouimet

Former Owner - Ambassador

Sharon has been involved in the business with her husband John for the past 51 years. In the earlier years, she served in most areas of the day-to-day business of the Funeral Home. Today you can still find Sharon involved in the business working on a service or greeting families at the door.

Margaret Bea Ouimet

Former Owner - Consultant

Bea has worked at Ouimet along the side of her husband Don for many years. You will find her involved in the day-to-day activities of the Mortuary, giving good advice, meeting with families, working services, and greeting families as they enter the Mortuary. She is very involved in the community as well as her local parish.

Bruce Keim

Funeral Director - Embalmer

Born and raised in Nebraska, Bruce attended San Francisco College of Mortuary Science, graduating in 1993. Bruce is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in California and Nebraska. He has worked in the Greater Bay Area since 1994 and joined Ouimet Bros. Concord Funeral Chapel in 2006. Bruce has worked in many positions within the funeral home; however, his work fulfillment is helping and assisting the families we serve. Bruce enjoys traveling, enjoying good restaurants and spending time with family and friends.

Funeral Counselor

Born in San Francisco and raised on the Peninsula, Cristo has worked in the funeral and cemetery industry since 2003.  He graduated from Skyline College with an Associate’s Degree and attended San Francisco State University.  In his 15 years he has garnered extensive knowledge and experience in both the Funeral and Cemetery fields. 

A strong proponent of serving families with the utmost care and respect, Cristo is very pleased to be working with Ouimet Bros. Funeral Chapel and serving families with the friendly nature and family first atmosphere commonly associated with everyone working at Ouimet Bros.

Cristo resides in the East Bay with his wife and three children.  He likes spending his leisure time enjoying family and friends, traveling and is an avid supporter of the San Francisco 49ers!

Adminstrative Assistant

Vickie has been working in the funeral and cemetery business for eight years. She enjoys traveling by RV with her husband and her two dogs, Duncan and Ireland. She also enjoys watching the San Francisco Giants and the 49ers.

VIckie has been with Ouimet Bros. Concord Funeral Chapel since 2015 and is the Administrative Assistant.

Mary Cardoza

Ambassador - Funeral Assistant

A native of Crockett and a 55-year resident of Concord, Mary and her late husband Jess owned and operated a Shell Service Station for 24 years. She is a 1947 graduate of Holy Names Catholic High School in Oakland.

She spent many years assisting the nuns at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church and volunteering at the St. Bonaventure Catholic Church Senior Luncheons. In her spare time, Mary enjoys crocheting, knitting, painting, sewing, and making the most amazing desserts.  

Mary has been with Ouimet Bros. Concord Funeral Chapel since 1998 and currently serves as an Ambassador and Funeral Assistant.

Sonia  Rubio

Sonia Rubio

Ambassador - Funeral Assistant

Sonia grew up in San Ardo, CA and graduated from King City High School. After High School she attended the Fashion Institute of design and Merchandising in San Francisco graduating 1997 with her AA in Visual Presentation and Space Design.  She then worked in the field of design for over 15 years. 

Sonia has owned her floral business Amazing Flowers for the past 8 years.  She has worked at the Ouimet Bros.  for over 10 years and enjoys bringing comfort to the families we serve. 


Marina Heiy

Marina Heiy

Ambassador - Funeral Assistant

Marina and her husband live in Brentwood.  They have two children and two grandchildren. She is actively involved in various church ministries at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Brentwood since 2008.  Marina is Head Sacristan, an Extra Ordinary Eucharistic minister and a Faith Formation teacher. She volunteers at Sutter Delta Hospital Chaplain services once a month. She enjoys arts and crafts, music and spending time with her grandchildren.


Marina has been with Ouimet Bros. Concord Funeral Chapel since 2013 and currently serves as an Ambassador and Funeral Assistant.

Jim grew up in San Francisco and has a bachelor's degree in business administration.  The majority of his career has been dealing with numbers and working with the government. 

At the funeral home Jim enjoys being supportive of families that are dealing with a loss.  He appreciates the family environment of working at Ouimet Bros.

Jim  has been with Ouimet Bros. Concord Funeral Chapel since 2016 and currently serves as an Ambassador and Funeral Assistant.

Teresa was born in Concord and has spent over 25 years in the Customer Service Industry. She has 3 children and is a Parent-Contact for the Concord High School Concert Choir Group and also the Junior Varsity Football Team. In her spare time she enjoys crafting.

She feels very honored to be able to offer support and provide quality, caring service to our community and their families.

Tania has been with Ouimet Bros. Concord Funeral Chapel since 2018 and currently serves as an Ambassador and Funeral Assistant. 


Susan Ripley

Susan Ripley

Ambassador - Funeral Assistant

Susan is a native San Franciscan and has lived her entire life in the Bay Area.  She is married and enjoys spending time with her family. She is an award winning photographer and former flight attendant for an international carrier and has traveled extensively throughout Europe and the United States.  Susan is a soprano with experience in choirs of varied repertory  styles as well as in several professional organizations.  Her hobbies include working out, cooking, and most especially, reading.  She currently sings in the St. Bonaventure Church choir as well as in a Sunday morning quartet.  As a funeral coordinator for St. Bonaventure Church, Susan thoroughly enjoys meeting people and being of service to others. 


Susan has been with Ouimet Bros. Concord Funeral Chapel since 2017 and currently serves as an Ambassador and Funeral Assistant. 



Bob Ripley

Bob Ripley

Ambassador - Funeral Assistant

Born in Maine, Bob lived in Pennsylvania and Texas before moving to California. He is a licensed CPA with experience in public and private practice. Bob has taught at the university level and continues to teach continuing professional education classes. He is actively involved in a number of ministries at Concord churches, including the Knights of Columbus and senior lunch programs. He enjoys reading, playing the ukulele, singing with his wife Susan in the St. Bonaventure choir and helping comfort those in need.

Bob has been with Ouimet Bros. Concord Funeral Chapel since 2018 and currently serves as an Ambassador and Funeral Assistant.
