Janie went peacefully to be with the Lord in her home in Concord on Nov. 1, 2017. Born in Virginia, MN on Oct. 19, 1956 to Joseph and Georgina Cvek, she moved to CA in 82.

She leaves behind her beloved husband of 38 yrs, Kevin: daughters Heidi (Josh) Keene-Burt and Angela (Jesus) Keene-Gomez; sons Nathan (Corina), and Benjamin: Mom Georgina; brothers John, Gerald and Steve Cvek and Dan Monroe. Sharon also leaves behind 5 grandchildren.

Janie was full of the Lord, wise, loving and giving of herself to all her family and friends and anyone that would take the time to share tears with her. She loved to laugh and enjoyed sharing quotes from movies. She enjoyed listening and dancing to the blues, and gospel music, but her real fulfillment in life came from her children’s happiness.

She will be greatly missed by all with whom crossed her path.

Please join the Keene family for her Celebration of life on Monday, Nov. 13, 2017 at 12 Noon at Ouimet Bros. Concord Funeral Chapel, 4125 Clayton Rd., Concord, CA. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Concord, CA.
