Ryan Joseph Jacobson died on Friday December 8th, 2017.

Ryan is survived by his father Timothy Jacobson and sister Alyssa Jacobson.

Born in Denver Colorado on December 29th, 1993, Ryan was the younger of the two children of Timothy and Tammera Jacobson, who passed away on June 17th, 2017. Ryan traveled abroad In High School through a Rotary Club exchange program and again studying abroad in College. While at College Park High School he made a difference in many people’s lives mentoring middle school students and managing the Peer Tutoring Program. After High School he pursued his dreams in New York where he graduated with Honors from the College of Arts and Sciences at New York University earning a Bachelor of Arts in Art History – his passion. With several internships at galleries and Artforum Magazine as an Intern Editor, he strived to establish himself in the contemporary art community of NYC.

After graduation in 2016 he returned to Pleasant Hill where he struggled to manage Bi-Polar Disorder that had afflicted him since early 2016. Ryan took his life early in the morning on Interstate 680 near Cordelia.
In his memory a gathering will be held at his family home on Friday December 29th, 2017 from 1:00 – 4:00pm.
