Robert passed away at his home in Clayton on Jan 14, 2018. He was predeceased by his wife Janet of 51 years in 2011.

He leaves behind his daughter Cathy DeVito and her husband Mike and son Rob Stickle of Parker, CO and grandchildren Ryan and Jordan DeVito. He also leaves behind his Sister Janet De Voe and her husband Bob.

Robert was a retired Commander of the US Navy. He graduated from the SUNY Maritime College at Fort Schuyler, was a Civil War buff, passionate about hunting and humble man who’s family came first. Robert was looking forward to being reunited with his love, Janet.

Visitation will be from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, Jan 19, 2018 followed with a funeral service on Saturday, Jan 20, 2018 at 4:00 PM at Ouimet Bros. Concord Funeral Chapel, 4125 Clayton Rd., Concord CA. Interment will be in Sacramento Valley National Cemetery on Wednesday, Jan 24, 2018 at 9:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers donations to the Wreath Project at wreathproject.org are preferred.
