Rita Stellini

Rita was born in Malta and moved to San Francisco at age 18. A devoted and loving mother and grandmother, Rita will be dearly missed by her children, Charlie (Debbie), Lorraine (Dave), Arthur (Joann), Lillian (Tony) and Albert; her grandchildren, Christina, Nina, Domenic, John, Angela and Maya; and her sister, Mariann. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years, John, and her brother, Paul Borg (Dalor). When she wasn’t fulfilling her role as Nana, Rita spent time cooking (her pastizzis were a holiday tradition), gardening, knitting, and attending social events at the Maltese American Club. Rita’s caretaker, Cathy, provided amazing love and care until the end. We are grateful for her unwavering love and will miss her each and every day. A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Thursday, April 19th at St. Bonaventure Church in Concord at 11am. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Association are welcomed.
