Tribute

Quanah Nahele Souza, 24 years old of El Sobrante, CA passed away in a fatal car accident on Sunday, October 4, 2020.

Quanah was born in Oakland, CA on May 17,1996 to Rudolph and Donna Souza.

He attended Hidden Valley Elementary School, Valley View Middle School and graduated from College Park High School in 2014. Quanah later went on to attend Diablo Valley College.

Quanah is survived by his parents Rudolph, Donna Souza, his brother Dakota Souza and sister Kanane Thomas-Souza (Anthony).  Along with his precious and loving grandmother Betty Spears, special aunts Danielle Spears, Deborah Larsen, uncle Paul Larsen, and special cousins Dyami and Acadia Larsen, Taray Evans as well as special friend Cecil Anderson and cousin Charles (Bim) Stanton, along with his extended Souza family members Ann Souza, Lorraine Smith (Mike), Dawn, Liz, and Joy Souza, cousins Channing, Faith and Eden Smith.

Quanah was a loving son, brother and a best friend with just about everyone who knew him.  He was easy going, free hearted, fun loving and loved and accepted all people.  His caring and compassion for people always led him to being the first one on the scene for anyone who was in need of a helping hand.  Quanah was dedicated and generous to his family and friends and beloved by all.  His caring nature, infectious smile and gregarious laughter always lit up a room wherever he went.  He will be truly missed by all that had the pleasure of having him as a part of their lives.

He loved hanging out with all of his treasured friends, playing basketball, riding his dirt bike up in Nevada City, snowboarding and tinkering with putting things together as he was very mechanically inclined.  He loved his dog Charlie and his cat Cheetos, and they loved him back equally. He was employed at Tesla Motors for over the past two years.

Quanah was dedicated to our Heavenly Father at Valley Bible Church in Hercules, and later accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at Hilltop Community Church in Richmond, CA.
