Michael Francis Gardner

May 8, 1966 ~ December 18, 2021 (age 55) 55 Years Old

Tribute

Michael Gardner left this world at 55—much too soon due to alcohol abuse and withdrawal.  He was an outgoing, friendly, caring man with loving and supportive family and friends, but he had an addiction he couldn’t successfully combat.  Michael was a skilled photographer with broad interests ranging from music, sailing, hiking, and even fencing and glass blowing.  He greatly enjoyed music – listening, attending concerts, and playing with friends.  He had a keen ear and was skilled in recording and mixing.  His wit was endearing.  He named his sailboat “After You” so that he could tell people, “I named my boat After You.”  Michael’s family and friends mourn his early death but have faith that he is now at peace with his dad Ron in heaven. He is survived by his mother, Margaret or Maggie, his sister Liz (Rob), his favorite (and only) nephew Marcus and caring aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Friends and family are invited to a visitation on Saturday, February 5th at noon at St. Bonaventure’s Catholic Church to be followed at 1:00 pm with a Celebration of Life, 5563 Clayton Road, Concord.  For the safety of all, please be vaccinated and masked.
