Mervyn Ray Hammond

Mervyn Ray Hammond passed away on Aug 21, 2021.  He was born on December 23rd, 1931,  in Berkley, CA to parents Hazel and Raymond Hammond. Mervyn graduated from Willits High School and then enlisted in the Air Force from 1951 – 1954. After leaving the Air force Mervyn attended Armstrong College, earning himself a Bachelor’s Degree, shortly after graduating he found himself at Commercial Heating and Air which he worked at for 54 years before retiring.

 Mervyn is survived by: sons: Bruce and Troy Hammond; daughter, Cheryl Howe; stepson, Dale Sheets; stepdaughter, Suzanne Sheets and ten Grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his son, Paul Hammond and parents. He will be dearly missed by all whom knew and loved him.
