Marianna Cianfichi

Marianna Cianfichi was born in Curinga, Italy and came to America in 1947. She met her husband, Clement, in Hibbing, MN and they were married 67 years. They had two lovely daughters; Angie and Rita.

The family moved to Concord, CA in 1959, and Marianna worked 19 years for Valley Manor Convalescent Home and retired at the age of 62.

There are so many good memories about this special woman, who gave from the heart. Astute in world affairs, strong sense of self, respected by all who knew her, a good friend and confidant, hard worker, cook extraordinaire, genuine and caring. People loved her kind spirit. She had a special gift for making all who knew her, feel cared for, special and loved.

Her family was her life. She loved and adored her granddaughters, Lauren and Kirsten, and was blessed to have met her great grand daughter, Sophia, a few days before she passed away.

To the very end, her memory was phenomenal despite all her medical challenges. She never met a stranger, we are all blessed to have known her and had her in our lives.

Angie Cianfichi, Scot and Rita Rutkovitz, Lauren Rutkovitz and Tobey, Kirsten and Sophia Coombe, and nephews; Peter and Eldred Jemme and her loving nieces Peggy Connor and Kathy Gonzales and family.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00PM, Wednesday, April 11, 2018 with Vigil Service at 5:00PM at Queen of All Saints Church, 2390 Grant St., Concord. Funeral Liturgy will be at 10:00AM, Thursday, April 12, 2018 at Queen of All Saints Church. Interment will follow immediately at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1965 Reliez Valley Rd., Lafayette.
