Leanne Marie Myers passed away suddenly, in her sleep, on Jan 05. Leanne was a force for light and good in the lives of her many friends and the central pillar for her family.
Leanne was born to Gwen and Bill Morris and graduated from Concord High School in 1988 where Leanne was a Grand Officer in Rainbow Girls. Leanne went on to earn her BS in Nursing from Samuel Merritt & St Mary’s College. Upon graduation, Leanne was invited by the British Parliament to spend a year in England to experience and learn from the British Healthcare system. The skills Leanne learned by these experiences formed the impact Leanne made at multiple positions with John Muir Hospital in Walnut Creek as well as Kaiser Permanente in Oakland and Walnut creek where Leanne rose to a director position. Ultimately, Leanne had to retire due to protracted battle with Hereditary Angioedema.
Leanne is survived by her loving parents and her devoted children Nicholas and Abigail who love her dearly. Leanne met the love of her life Alexander Lehming who asked her to marry him last Christmas Day, which Leanne happily accepted. The last two weeks of her life were filled with utter Joy and Happiness! Leanne is also survived by her brother Russell, her sister-in-law Michele, and two nephews Bradley and Brian of Bend Oregon.
Due to Covid, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The family would like to ask that expressions of condolences be made via donations in her honor to the US Hereditary Angioedema Association – www.haea.org or the veterans association of your choice.
