Kory Alan McGregor

It is with great sorrow we announce, on Wednesday, August 21st, 2019, Kory Alan McGregor, loving father, son, brother and uncle, unfortunately passed away at the age of 42. Kory was born on August 9th, 1977 in Walnut Creek, Ca. He was survived by his Daughter Taylor McGregor, Mother Debra Shipp, Step Father Richard Shipp, Sisters Katy and Betsy McGregor and niece London McGregor. He passed away Aug 21, 2019 in his Walnut Creek home. Kory had a very quirky sense of humor, and found humor in just about anything. He would frequently laugh at himself and his own jokes. He was brutally honest, and sometimes lacked a filter", but that was something that everyone loved and respected about him. If it was on his mind, it was probably coming out of his mouth! Anyone who knew Kory', knows that he is someone once you meet him, you never forget and we never will. He was passionate about everything he did. He was always honest, loyal and loving. He was kind to everyone he met... If you needed anything, he would be there without question! Kory loved his family more than anything, and his daughter Taylor was the light of his life. Everything he did was for her. His heart was huge and his energy and spirit matched that. Words can't describe how much our hearts will ache for this devastating loss for a person who was loved so deeply, by so many. He will be eternally missed and loved, life's moments will not be the same without him. The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 30th, at 2:00pm at Ouimet Bros. Concord Funeral Chapel located at 4125 Clayton Road, Concord Ca 94521. Kory's celebration of life will immediately follow at Korys parents house located at 5266 Concord Blvd, Concord Ca 94521. Everyone is invited and more than welcome to attend and celebrate how he touched our lives!
