Kenneth L. Schacherer

Ken passed a few weeks before his 88th birthday. He was born and raised in Richmond, CA. and resided in his Pacheco, CA home for 63 years. In his profession he worked his first 10 years as a pipe fitter at Standard Oil in Richmond and then transitioned to a plumber with Local 159 in Contra Costa County. 
Ken enjoyed woodworking, boating, camping, traveling, wine tasting, fine dining, country concerts, gardening, the SF Giants, and time at the family cabin on the northern coast of California. 
He was preceded in death by his wife of 42 years, Connie Schacherer and his daughter Cathy Sardina (Sal). He is survived by his son Steve Schacherer (Nichol), daughter Terri Milo (Bob), grandsons Dan Schacherer (Merissa) and Kevin Schacherer, granddaughter Katelyn Mathieu (Adam), grandsons Tyler Carr and Jack Campbell, and great grandson Colton Schacherer. 

A memorial will be held on Sunday, May 21 at Ouimet Bros. Funeral Chapel at 1:00 PM
