Howard Herrold

March 21, 2021

Tribute

It is with deep sadness and pain that our family announces the passing of Howard “Howie” Eugene Herrold, who died at 59 on Sunday, March 21, 2021. A resident of Concord, California for over 50 years, he graduated from Mt Diablo High School in 1979. He worked as a self-employed general contractor with a love and creative talent to fix anything. Howie enjoyed basketball games, country music, building boats, his Ford trucks and fifth wheel, spending time with his grandson, and sharing joy by decorating his house for the holidays. He loved his dogs, Bear and Koda. He had a deep love for the outdoors, which included fishing and camping with family and life-long friends. We are blessed that his last day was his ideal perfect day: boating and fishing at Lake Berryessa with his beloved wife and son.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years Debi-Ann, son Anthony "T.J.", and grandson Jameson Herrold. His laughter and love will live forever in our hearts.
A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 11:00AM, Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at St. Bonaventure Church 5562 Clayton Road, Concord. Interment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Lafayette.
