Geraldine Mary Gripe

Geraldine Mary Gripe 93, entered into rest on January 26, 2020 in Concord, CA; born January 14, 1927 in Harrah, OK to Vance and Margurite Yeager. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, daughter, sister and friend that will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her. Geraldine is survived by her children: Alicia Jean Mounsey and her husband Robert, Mickie Vera, Leslie Rosendahl and her husband Keith, Tim Gripe and his wife Robin, Tom Gripe and Susan Silkitis and her husband Russell; grandchildren: Kristi Mueller and her husband Ernest, Bobby Mounsey and his wife Tonya, Michael Mounsey and his wife Krista, Tony Gripe and his wife Vanessa, Keith Gripe, Melinda Vera and her husband Mike, Brittany Herman and her husband Mike, Blake Rosendahl and his wife Diana, Nicholas Gripe and his wife Shannon, Shelby Gripe and partner Peter Rogers, Samatha Gripe, Lindsey Tran and her husband Ben, Ashley Gripe, Kelly Silkitis and Steven Silkitis; 19 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband William; son William Vance “Buddy” Gripe; parents and sister Delores Seymour. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00a.m., Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 860 Oak Grove, Concord, CA 94518 followed by a rite of committal at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, 1965 Reliez Valley Road, Lafayette, CA 94549.
