Francis Bernard McNamee

   Frank, beloved husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend passed away peacefully at home on May 3, 2022. Frank was born in San Francisco on January 15, 1928 to Rose and Joseph McNamee. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Marilyn, his parents, his brother Joseph, his son-in-law Bill, his daughter-in-law Karen and his grandson Will. 

   Frank attended St. Joseph's Seminary through junior year of high Schooland graduated from St. Ignatius in San Francisco. He graduated from the University of San Francisco and was a Don's Club booster for many years and once served as the Don's Club President. 

   He married the love of his life, Marilyn (Mahoney), on August 5, 1950. 

   Frank is survived by his children Joan Baker, Mike McNamee, Jeannie McNamee, Dan and Aileen McNamee, Julie and Rick Cross, Tim McNamee; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. The family is very grateful for the wonderful care given Dad by Debbie Kuppenbender (Mike McNamee's partner) and by the Kindred at Home care providers. 

   The Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 11:30 AM, Friday, June 3, 2022 at St. Bonaventure Church, 5562 Clayton Road, Concord. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to suggest a donation to Catholic Charities or the charity of your choice.
