Evelyn Marie Schiappacasse

Evelyn passed away at home on May 8 at the age of 92. She was a third-generation San Franciscan and grew up in the Mission District attending St. Peter's Academy. She had a life long love of the symphony, opera and spending summers at the Russian River. She married John, her husband of 45 years, in 1957 and moved to Concord in 1965 where she worked as a teacher's aid with deaf children.

She was predeceased by her husband John and new-born son Paul Robert. She is survived by daughter Lyn, son John, daughter-in-law Evonne and grand daughters Emma and Elise.

A Visitation will begin at 4:00 pm and a Vigil Service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 19 at Ouimet Bros Concord Funeral Chapel, 4125 Clayton Rd., Concord CA, 94521. A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 10:30 a.m on Monday, May 20 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 3966 Chestnut Ave., Concord CA, 94519 with interment following at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 1500 Mission Rd., Colma CA.
