Donna Stevenson

It is with great sadness the family of Donna Stevenson (nee’) Touissaint announce her passing peacefully in her sleep Jan 7, 2023.

A resident of Clayton, California Donna was born in Sleepy Eye, MN. One of four children to Emil and Katherine Touissaint.  She attended Saint Andrews in Fairfax, MN and Fairfax high school. Donna attended Mankato Business  College studying accounting. Upon graduation she worked in Minneapolis, she then moved to Hawaii and worked for Kodak.

At 23 she moved to the San Francisco Bay Area where she was employed at Union Oil in San Francisco.  She met the love of her life Robert Stevenson at Saint Jarvis Catholic Church dance in Berkeley.  Robert and Donna went on to be married for 63 years, having four children, six grandchildren and one great grandchild.  Donna also worked at short stop Benicia, CA and The Mount Diablo United School District in Concord for 13 years.

Upon retirement, Robert and Donna moved to Buckhorn, CA then to Palm Springs and with Robert’s passing returned to the Bay Area. Donna is survived by her daughters Mary, JoRita and Carrie and a brother Nicholas, her grandchildren Colton, Christopher, Dylan, Kevin, Brandon and Leo and a great grandchild Natalie.  Predeceased by her son Mark and sisters Marie and Carola

Donna’s  Funeral Mass will be at Saint Bonaventure Catholic Church, In Concord, CA on Jan 27th 11 am.  Donna will be laid  to rest at Riverside National Cemetery In Southern CA.

Mom, grandma you are loved and will be forever in our hearts.
