Charlotte Simmons

Charlotte T. Simmons passed away after a short, but valiant battle with cancer on August 3, 2018 at the age of 87. Charlotte was born and raised in Kansas, attended the University of St. Mary in Leavenworth and worked as a registered nurse for over 40 years. Charlotte married Albert Simmons on November 24, 1956 and remained his loving partner until his death in 2010. She was a longtime resident of Clayton, California and lover of life, God, America and her family.

She is survived by three daughters; Ann Conroy, Jeanne Simmons-Crow, Heather Parmenter and their respective spouses, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. 

A Viewing will take place on Wednesday, August 15th from 5 - 8 p.m. at Ouimet Bros. Concord Funeral Chapel; Vigil service at 6. A funeral mass is scheduled for Thursday, August 16th at 11 a.m. at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, 5562 Clayton Rd., Concord. Reception to follow.
