“Miss Betty” (as she was often called) was the epitome of a modest, kind and gentle woman, always with a smile on her face and a warm greeting to all. Betty was a counselor at Mt. Diablo High School in Concord for over 25 years. She provided warm assurance, wisdom and sound advice to her students. No doubt Betty’s quiet sense of humor helped her students get past the “trauma” of the day and see the positive. Betty Sullivan was a parishioner of St. Agnes Church in Concord for over 30 years. Betty devoted herself to all things Catholic, praying often and fervently, unlocking the church doors for daily mass, supporting the many activities and charitable parish organizations. Betty was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, an 18 year associate of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet and in ADK, the International Sorority of Women Educators. Betty will be sorely missed by all in her “Family of Faith” at St. Agnes. Betty Marie Sullivan was predeceased by her parents and brother. She is survived by her nieces and nephews along with their children. REGRETTABLY SERVICES HAVE BEEN POSTPONED UNTIL A LATER DATE. DUE TO CURRENT CRISIS. Memorials in Betty’s memory may be made to St. Agnes Church, Concord, Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, 11999 Chalon Road, Los Angeles, CA 90049 or a charity of your choice.
