Barbara has entered into eternal rest after a long and hard-fought battle against Alzheimer's disease. Born in Plattsburgh, New York, she travelled the USA and Europe as a military child before moving to Concord and meeting and marrying the love of her life Tom McKinnon. They raised 5 children together: Dennis(Sheila), Greg(Stephanie), Gerald(Janet), Bernadette, and Michelle(John), 5 grandchildren Jayme, Jeremy, Mitchel, Megan, Kevin and 2 great grandchildren Gabriel and Gianna.
Barbara is survived by her sister and brother-in-law Alice and John Caldera and pre deceased by her husband Tom and her parents Hazel and Robert.
Many thanks to the staff at Carlton Senior Living at Poet's Corner and Vitas Hospice for their love and care. Funeral Liturgy will be held at Queen of All Saints Church Friday, August 11, 2017 at 10am.
Burial immediately following at Queen of Heaven Cemetery Lafayette.
