After a long and full life, Adrienne J. (Fontaine) Lamoureux died on October 31, 2022 at the age of 87. Though too soon for family and friends, we celebrate with her that she is with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, through whom she put her trust as she lived her life here on earth.
She was born to Raymond and Adrienne (Guerin) Fontaine on January 17, 1935 in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. After meeting her husband, Phillippe S. Lamoureux of 64 years on a blind date, they married on October 18, 1958. The family relocated to Concord, California in 1965 where she and Philippe raised their 5 children.
Adrienne always had a smile on her face, and a positive attitude to match. With open arms, she welcomed family and friends turning her home into a “second home” to many. Adrienne was very involved in her church community, St. Bonaventure, as well as various women’s ministries, loving and serving people. She was involved in multiple choirs over the years including her most recent stint at Oakmont of Montecito. She loved all of the Bay Area sports teams, following them faithfully for decades.
Adrienne is survived by her husband, Philippe S. Lamoureux, her five children, Paul (Lisa), Duane (Julie), Michelle Lewandowski (David), Andree Baker (Curtis), Blaise (Imelda), 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Also, her sister, Yolande (Fontaine) Casey.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, Raymond and Adrienne Fontaine, sister Jeanne (Fontaine) Jarret, and brother Raymond Fontaine, Jr.
