Zelda passed away on May 12, 2017 at the age of 96. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Edwin P. Browne in 1997.

She leaves behind her son Michael Browne and his wife Gayle, her daughter Sandra Babinski and her husband Mike, her grandchildren Matt, Dan, Joey and Sean as well as 4 great grandchildren.

Zelda served in the United States Coast Guard during World War II.

Private services were held at Rolling Hills Memorial Park, Richmond, CA.
