Shontel Sherrie Smith, age 45, went home to be with her lord on May 5, 2017.
She was born in San Francisco, California to Billy and Patricia Smith. She was raised in Pinole, California along with her sister, Reykeyii Smith. Shontel loved life itself and everyone around her. She put her heart and soul in The Sisterhood of Lupus, while pursuing and fulfilling her goal to become a nurse. She also had a son, John Mark Naranjo, who was the light of her life. John Mark loved his mother to the fullest and they were inseperable.
Shontel is survived by her parents, son, sister, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
