Surrounded by her family, Peggy passed peacefully on May 5, 2017.

Born February 11, 1923 in Oakland CA to John and Mary Casey, Peggy grew up in Castro Valley with her two brothers, Barney and Jim. She lived and worked in San Francisco where she met Patrick Sullivan, whom she married in 1948. She spent the last 62 years in Concord where she was a very active member of St. Bonaventure Church and with her husband, was one of the original founders of the Church’s Food Pantry. Peggy spent over 50 years dedicated to the Food Pantry and helping her community. For the past 2 years, Peggy enjoyed living at Aegis of Pleasant Hill.

Peggy is preceded in death by her son, John Sullivan (1970) and her husband, Patrick Sullivan (1987). She is survived by her daugh- ters, Mary P. Sullivan and Sheila Pierce (Dave Pierce), her grandkids, Joe Pierce and Jessica Tillery (Scott Tillery), her great granddaughters, Arrabella, Sophia and Tempest. Peggy has many relatives in the San Francisco Bay area and Lake Tahoe with whom she spent a lot of time.

A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Thursday, May 18th at 11:00 am, at St. Bonaventure Church, 5562 Clayton Road, Concord, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Peggy’s name to St Bonaventure’s Food Pantry or Hospice of East Bay.
