Jon Dee Hymer

Jon Hymer passed away at John Muir Hospital in Walnut Creek. He had a long series of illnesses, and finally gave up the fight. Jon was born in Napa California and moved with his family to Contra Costa County when he was six years old. After graduating from College Park High School in 1977, he attended Diablo Valley College for several years. Jon worked as a salesperson until joining the International Brotherhood Electrical Workers Local 150, completed his apprenticeship in Cable Communication Installation & Training. Unfortunately, the employment situation for new apprentices in the current economy for our Country, employment was not available. Losing patience he entered the Security Field. Jon was predeceased by his father, Gene L. Hymer.  He is survived by his mother, Jeanne, his brother, Jeff, and several uncles, aunts and numerous cousins.  Thank you, Jon, for being so loving, caring, and sensitive.

You were loved dearly and will be greatly missed.  You left us too soon.  May you rest in peace.  There will be a viewing at Ouimet Funeral Chapel in Concord on Thursday February 15 from 4-6:00pm.  Please join us to say your goodbyes.  Burial will be at Tulocay Cemetery in Napa on Friday, February 16 at 12pm.
