Dr. James D. Gee, 82, experienced his richest moment on June 3, 2017 when he transferred from earth to glory; he was born in Sanger, CA on October 10, 1934, a son of Bert and Nina (White) Gee. James pastored with his wife in Concord for 25 years at Full Gospel Church (now New Hope International Church) and served for 17 years in the National Office of the Pentecostal Church of God in Joplin, MO where he served for 15 years as General Bishop.
James is survived by his daughter Julie McClendon (Scott); daughters-in-law, Barbara Gee and Laura Gee; sister, Nadine Thompson; brother, Jerry Gee; grandchildren, Ashley (Brandon), Jessica, Wesley, Curtis (Briana), Juliana (Miguel), Camille, Diana, Lily, Savannah; great grandchildren Lila and Noah. James is also survived by extended family and friends. James was preceded in death by wife, Diana in October 2012, two sons, James D. Gee Jr. in October 2010 and Jonathan Gee in June 2016.
Visitation will commence at 10:00AM with the Funeral Service at 11:00AM, Thursday June 15,2017 at New Hope International Church, 2120 Olivera Court, Concord, CA. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Concord.
