My dad took a security officer class with Mr. Keller as an instructor April 19-20, 1977. I have my dad's book that Mr. Keller used to instruct the class in security training. My dad died nearly nine years ago at the age of 73. My dad was in law enforcement and security for fifty five years, and I am sure Mr. Keller taught him a lot. My condolence to the Keller family.

Hussain wanted to share a funny story about Ekk in the jail. Ekk brought in a prisoner who was complaining that Concord police officers “are Nazi’s”. Ekk said,”that is ridiculous “. Then he and Hussain continued to book him while both spoke German.(Hussain’s mom was from Germany).

Ek was a very kind man who always treated us youngsters as members of the family. I will never forget his generosity or his patience in helping us begin our careers in law enforcement. RIP brother....
