Barry Bernard Morris, aged 64, a resident of Suisun City, peacefully passed away at his home in his sleep on March 21, 2024. He was born in Pittsburg on June 11, 1959, to loving parents whose legacy he honored throughout his life.
Barry graduated from Mt Diablo High School in 1978, where he laid the foundation for his future endeavors. On June 5, 1993, he entered into a lifelong commitment with Rosemary (Starr) Morris, with whom he shared countless cherished moments.
For 25 years, Barry dedicated himself to a distinguished career in chemical remediation, tirelessly contributing to the betterment of his community. His dedication and expertise led to his retirement in November 2018, leaving behind a legacy of professionalism and integrity.
A devout member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Fairfield, Barry found solace and strength in his faith, embodying its principles of compassion and service. Beyond his professional and spiritual commitments, Barry was known for his fervent passion for NHRA drag racing, where he found exhilaration and camaraderie.
Barry is survived by his devoted wife of 30 years, Rosemary Morris, and his beloved adopted son, Andrew, whom he embraced with unconditional love from birth. He is also survived by his siblings, Steven Morris, Mary Jean (Morris) Gehling, and Roger Morris, whose bonds of kinship brought joy and support throughout his life.
Funeral arrangements have been scheduled for April 4th, 2024, at 10 A.M. at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, located at 2390 Grand Street, Concord. The service will be officiated by Fr. Neil Clemens, offering solace and remembrance to all those touched by Barry's life.
