Aida was born on February 27, 1932 in La Paz, Bolivia to Francisco Figueredo and Paulina Flores. She was their only child. She married Edmundo Aliaga Verastegui in 1952.

She raised her entire family of 6 children in Bolivia until 1990, when she moved to California. In 1993, she received her GED in Sunnyvale, CA.

Aida is survived by her 6 children, Carmen (Felix), Felix (Esther), Edmundo (Barbara), Edmy (Elias), Denise, Jose Luis (Thanh Ha), 14 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
